Let's start things off with perspectives from the opposite realm of music.
First of all, the mighty Harvey Milk from Athens, Georgia. Known mostly for
their unique brand of unclassifiable sludgy noise rock; they also were classic rock guys at heart who just couldn't resist the urge any longer and finally dropped this
white hot guitar rock album back in 1997. I'm not sure what the initial response was to this record, but i'm sure it confused a few HM fans.
Lately, there has been a resurgence of interest in this band (due to the fact that they reformed and put out a new album on Relapse records); and there has been a few reissues that have come out within the past few years. My first recommendation would be the heart-stopping "Courtesy And Good Will Toward Men" album. "The Singles" compilation cd is also very very worth your time.
But for now, let's bask in the glory of this rock and roll feast!
